For those of us who have been adults for a while, and have seen tremendous changes in all facets of life take place seemingly overnight, it is more than refreshing to know the Lord’s stabilizing Presence. He is the only unchanging absolute, which any and all of us will ever know; whether we accept it or not. Creation, the weather, the financial system, family situations, aging, life and death, are all subject to instant change; but the Lord remains forever. And this unchanging quality is part of what endears us to know Him more and more.
