How many of us remember the insecurity of our childhood, as we wandered away from the security of our comfort zone? Sad to say there are so many people who have never been able to return, or never felt secure since. All the more, this personal Word from the Lord today gives us such a sense of affirmation and identity. He is the Lord Our God (our personal Creator who fashioned us individually, and loves us), He upholds our right hand (enabling us to hold on, and to keep a firm and steady pace). He tells us not to fear, because if He is with us, nothing can harm us. Isaiah 49: 15 – 16 says, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed (carved) you on the Palms of My Hands; your walls (Salvation) are continually before me.” Exactly where the Lord has the imprint of the nails in His Hands is where He has carved a place for us to be; being one with Him.
