Our society has been lambasted by such a barrage of verbally inadequate outbursts for so long, that it is not surprising how desensitized it is to what is even inappropriate, let alone offensive before the Lord. It is not uncommon within Scripture to read entire sections about the importance of God creating man for the purpose of being a person of praise, and His displeasure at their hardness of heart not to obey Him, by setting their minds to grumbling and discontent.
