What a wonderful God we serve that He is able to seek and to save us, and appropriate us as His own personal possession. 1 Peter 2 – 9 says, “But you are a Chosen Race, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, a People for God’s Own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous Light. He has saved us to rejoice and to proclaim God’s Glory and faithfulness, so that others may hear and respond to His gracious invitation of Salvation.
