What a phenomenal price the Lord paid for us so that we could have these promises fulfilled in our lives; and O what mind-boggling promises! Ransomed, and returning with shouts of joy, while sadness and all oppressive inclinations pass away.
Philippians 3: 14: says, “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Psalm 142: 5: “..O Lord, I said, “Thou art my Portion in the land of the living.” How much more will Jesus be our Portion, our Prize in the land of Eternity?
In Numbers 18: 20: the Lord speaks to Aaron saying, “You shall have no inheritance in their land, nor own any portion among them; I am your Portion and your Inheritance among the sons of Israel.” What powerful words spoken by God Almighty, making Himself the very personal Possession of this unique tribe, among the twelve tribes of Israel. And one day He will also take possession of those He has personally redeemed to be His Own forever; Both the Redeemer and the redeemed rejoicing together evermore.
Zephaniah 3: 17: (Amplified) says, “The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty Savior (Who saves)! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest (in silent satisfaction) and in His Love He will be silent and make no mention (of past sins, or recall them); He will exult over you with singing (shouts of joy).” Wow!
Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: thank You so very much for this mind-boggling Word of Hope and anticipation at what You have prepared for those who love and await Your return. Eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor has it entered the heart of man all that God has prepared (made and keeps ready for those who love Him (who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed).” 1 Corinthians 2: 9. Glory to You alone!
