October 9th, 2016, will forever be etched in my mind and heart, as a Day where the Lord permitted me to see His Divine Hand of Mercy intervene on my behalf. It was our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, and some of our children had come over to celebrate with us. One of them was our daughter, who had completely recovered from a massive tumor operation, in 2009. We had so much joy and laughter, in fellowship, and making meal preparations together.
Having gone to bed quite late, I still felt the need to pray, as something was not quite right. Just short of 2: AM I heard a scream from the bedroom next door, where our daughter was. I thought she might be having a bad dream, but also felt I should go check on her. I found her face down in her pillow, in a death rattle. I immediately began to shout, “Father in the Name of Jesus,” over, and over, and over, which seemed like forever, and nothing. Then, just as the ambulance came, some 15 minutes later, the Lord sent her back to us. Glory to God alone!
They never found any sign of seizures; she is completely healed, and in Ministry. Glory to God alone!
I had been up since 6:AM the day before, and should have been sleeping, and not heard her cry, or if I had not gone to check on her, the outcome would have been so different. But the Lord knew He was preparing a Testimony to His Glory, so that I could tell you first hand that He raises people from the dead, because He rose our daughter before our family’s very eyes.
John 15:7 If you abide in Me (Jesus), and My Words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Dearest Heavenly Father, I am so forever grateful for all the Mighty Miracles You have permitted me to experience my entire life. May all who read this be encouraged to trust in You in a greater depth, to see the answer to their prayers in times of dire need. Thank you for All the myriads of answered Prayers through the Holy Name of Jesus, Who ever lives to intercede for us, to Thy Glory alone.
