Isaiah 45: 23: “I (God) have sworn by Myself, the Word has gone out from My Mouth in righteousness and will not turn back, that to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance (obedient loyalty).”

Giselle's Devotional, home-page, by Giselle.

There are myriads of populations around the world who bow the knee in utmost fervency and sincerity; however, they are fervently and sincerely wrong. The Lord speaking in today’s Scripture is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Verses 5 – 6: says, “I am the Lord, there is no other; besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; that men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun, that there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord and there is no other.” Psalm 119: 89: says, “Forever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in Heaven (stands firm as the Heaven) (and cannot be undone).

We read in the Prophet Isaiah, in chapter 8: 20: which says, “To the Law (given to Moses) and to the testimony (all God’s spoken Words that come to pass)! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no dawn (not enlightened into the ways of the Lord God). All other foundations built without God’s given Law cannot stand. The question being, “How can anyone obey the Law of God, if the Law is not known to him, because it is not part of his fundamental teachings?  Everyone who is to get a driver’s license must first know the common law of the road; what a red or green light means etc.; otherwise, chaos soon ensues for everyone. And so it was, and is, the Lord’s intention for all to have the same basic fundamental teachings of His Law for all our well-being.

Jesus further enlightens us into the perils of our modern day inclusiveness and homogenization, in Matthew 5: 17 – 19: saying, “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the prophets; I did not come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill. For truly I say to You, until Heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law (God’s Word and commandments), until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments and so teaches others, shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”  Jesus tells us in Matthew 7: 24 – 27: “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock. And the rain descended, and the flood came, and the wind blew, and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock (God’s Words through Jesus). So we see that one whose life is hid in Jesus is not exempt from the storms, but promised complete overcoming safety through them.”

Philippians 2: 9 – 11: says, “Therefore also God Highly exalted Him (Jesus), and bestowed on Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Colossians 3: 16: says, “Let the Word of Christ (Jesus) richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: thank You so very much for Your Keeping Power, especially in these un-precedent times of error and deception. Come by You Holy Spirit, and draw many out of falsehood and darkness, that they have their eyes open to the wonderful blessings of Your promises that are available to all who call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus for temporal and eternal Salvation. Glory to You alone!
