From the very time that I surrendered my life to the Lord, something within my heart wanted everyone to know the goodness which the Lord had lavished upon me. This overwhelming sense of gratitude and awe has never left me, even in the most turbulent trials.
Everybody ought to know who Jesus is, and rightfully they should, as He is so tremendously gracious, merciful, and giving. The constant barrage of distractions around us is just that: distractions that have the potential of stealing every moment of every day, if one lets them. In verse 19, we read, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” Verse 5 says, “They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.”
1 Peter 3: 15, “But sanctify Christ (Jesus) as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.” 1 Peter 2: 9 says, “But you are a Chosen Race, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, a People for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the Excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: Thank You so much for the joy and abundance of Love which are only found in You. May You come by Your Holy Spirit and draw many to partake of Your goodness today. May many who have languished in their own ways know the thrill of the blessings and secure refuge they can find only in You. Glory to You alone!
