1 Peter 4: 5: “But they shall give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.”

Giselle's Devotional, by Giselle.
A few years back I found myself really bothered by very negative and evil public attacks on a Christian Leader. All he had done was present himself as a political candidate for service. As I prayed, the Lord led me to His Word in Psalm 92: 6: which says, “A senseless man has no knowledge; nor does a stupid man understand this: that when the wicked sprouted up like grass, and all who did iniquity flourished, it was only that they might be destroyed forevermore.”
Being an avid gardener I sensed the Lord showing me that fruit is harvested, while weeds are pulled. It might sound overly simplistic, but this Word took all concern away from me for everything, because ultimately everyone is going to reap what they sow; now, or before the Lord.
There are so many in our day which have absolutely no accountability to anyone, for lack of the fear of the Lord in their lives. In Psalm 73: 16 – 17: we read, “When I pondered to understand this (the prosperous way of the wicked) it was troublesome in my sight until I came into the Sanctuary of God; then I perceived their end.”
Galatians 6: 7: says, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life.  Galatians 5: 5: says, “For we through the Spirit, by faith, are waiting for the Hope of Righteousness.”   Verse 22: says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law.” And verse 25: says, “If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.”
Ephesians 1: 4 + 5: “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His Will.”
Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: thank You so very much for Your wonderful plan of salvation for all who will run to You and be safe from the wrath to come. Thank you for Your overwhelming Love with which You draw all from the ways of sin, to Your life of freedom in the Holy Spirit. May many answer Your call today to be led by the Holy Spirit, so that they may no longer carry out the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5: 16. Glory to You alone!
