Psalm 18:35: “Thou hast also given me the Shield of Thy Salvation, and Thy right Hand upholds me; and Thy gentleness (support) makes me great.”      This Scripture above I gave to our daughter in January two thousand and nine; the morning she and her Pastor husband headed out to the hospital for her appointed surgery.  As soon as I got their two boys off to school, I headed out to be at her side. Only ten days earlier, she had told us that a large brain tumor was discovered, and the doctors were baffled that she had not suffered seizures, or worse.  Just before she went in for the operation, as I was holding her hand, and stroking her hair, she joined me in singing, “Let there be Glory and Honor and Praises, Glory and honor to Jesus, Let there be Glory, Honor, Glory and Honor to Him.”  I told her I loved her, and she said, “I love you Mom”, and then I watched her go through the doors to the operating room. I never once had the slightest doubt to God’s absolute faithfulness in permitting this to come our way. What a mighty God we serve; some four hours, or so, later, the doctor came out and told us that he had never seen anything like it; this very large tumor was not attached to any blood source, or to her brain; they just went in, and basically took it out.
