This Scripture perfectly describes and captures the essence of what I feel in my heart towards the Word of God. I cannot even begin to imagine what my life would be like without a link to the Source of my very being. The very moment I came into contact with the Word of God after Salvation, I knew I had found the food that my spirit had so very much longed and famished for. Truly Jesus had become to me my personal Immanuel, God with us, God’s Word made flesh within for my survival, victory, and well-being.” Psalm 119: 11 + 130 + 140: says, “Thy Word have I treasured (hid) in my heart that I may not sin against Thee. The unfolding of Thy Word gives Light; it gives understanding to the simple. Thy Word is very pure, therefore Thy servant loves it.” John 1: 1 – 4 + 9: says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
