If we have right standing with God, we have everything, because nothing in life matters other than one being pleasing to his Maker. In verse 10: it says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord, and the Power of His Might.” We may be the most broken vessel on the face of the earth, but with the Lord’s keeping Power about us, and His Strength within us, we can live in victory through the darkest nights. Anyone can quit, and so many do, but to the one who holds on, there is such great reward. So hold on! There are different times in my life when the Lord has permitted me to embrace my sense of deep poverty more than others, only to see His Grace bring about such riches in Him, as I could never had dreamed possible. There are many things which the Lord draws us away from, so that we can be drawn to Himself alone. Hebrews 12: 5b – 6 + 9b – 10b – 11: says, “My son, do not think lightly or scorn to submit to the correction of the Lord, nor lose courage and give up and faint when you are reproved or corrected by Him; for the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His Heart and cherishes.
