There are many of us who have gone through lengthy times of depending on the Lord’s Grace to see us through to the other side of the tunnel, so to speak. And during those trying times, did we cultivate our times of prayer and praise, and deepen our faith and trust in the Lord? Or did we trudge along all the way; counting every second till the trial was over? This above verse specifically says that the Lord is the One who gives Grace, and also the One Who gives Glory. When we get to the place of Glory and look back, is the time of Grace we came through tainted by lack of trustworthiness, unfaithfulness, or being displeasing to the Lord in any way? 2 Chronicles 16: 9: says, “For the Eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” What a Powerful Scripture! To think that the Creator of Heaven and earth is continually overseeing all the movements, words and deeds of men, to probe their loyalty towards Him. And then when He finds those who are true, He throws all the support of His Kingship behind them, not withholding any good thing that they might have need of. Isaiah 66: 1a – 2: says, “Thus says the Lord, “Heaven is My Throne, and the earth is My Footstool.
