I remember very distinctly the many times that I have sought the Lord for confirmation of His direction in my life throughout the years. And at every turn the Lord confirmed over-abundantly; whether it was when I felt His call to go to Israel, or tour with a singing group, accept leadership positions, the purchase of a new home, vehicle, and so on. The Lord personally led us none more so, than over fifteen years ago, when He led us to leave our comfort zone, and go to a totally new and unfamiliar environment, with no exact destination in mind. Because of His awesome faithfulness to us in every detail of our lives, we continued to trust Him all along the way, even when we have not always seen what lies ahead. Romans 4: 17b – 19a – 21: says, “even God, Who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.” In hope against hope he (Abraham) believed, in order that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken (promised to him), “So shall your descendants be. And without becoming weak in faith… yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able to also perform. Therefore it (his faith) was reckoned to him as righteousness.” We see how contagious Abraham’s faith was to those who surrounded him,…
