There are myriads of people who are sincerely believing and waiting in vain for the hope and aspiration of their faith to be fulfilled, because they have truly and sincerely, knowingly, or unknowingly, placed their faith in error and deception that cannot reap God’s blessings. Psalm 11: 3: tells us, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” These foundations are the fundamental building blocks which the Lord Himself put in place for all, in and through, His Spoken and given Word; it is the Rule of Law. Everything has to be done God’s way for anyone to begin to receive the benefits He offers. It applies to every facet of every area of life, from gardening to personal behavior; everything works when order is applied. One cannot follow the Ten Commandments given by God to Moses, if they are not known to he or she, or if they are rejected. So, today’s Scripture takes on a very specific meaning to a very specific group of people; God acts in behalf of the ones who wait for Him, the only One Who is able to intervene for all. I may know the Word of God, but not even begin to know the God of the Word, unless I choose to adhere to His blueprint for my life.
