We hear daily of people who have placed their life savings and trust in real estate, business, mutual funds, and even worse, in family and friends, only to turn around and see everything wiped out from under them. I cannot fathom going through life without the Anchor Jesus is to me; let alone knowing the loss of all things, and not having the Solid Rock of Who He is support me in times of devastation. Psalms 32: 6 says, “Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not reach him.” Isaiah 55: 6 and 7 says, “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteousness man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him; and to our God for He will abundantly pardon,” Notice, that there is no doubt that if one comes to the Lord, the result is immediate with complete mercy and compassion.
