I remember John chapter fourteen as being one of the first Scriptures that I ever read after Salvation. I could not believe that all these promises were here for me, and that I had never read them. I just had to continue reading this chapter over, and over, for at least a couple of years, and still do quite often. The more I read these verses the more I cried. To think that Jesus had died for me, and then had returned to Heaven to prepare a place for me is so overwhelming. Jesus’ acts of kindness and love for anyone who would turn and believe in Him still boggle my mind. Romans 3: 24 + 26b: says, being justified as a gift by His Grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; that He might be just and the Justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Galatians 3: 16: says, “nevertheless, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law; since by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Jesus took a chance on us that we would believe in His Life, Death and Resurrection. He then added this promise to those who did believe, that He would go and prepare a home for each of us, and then return to personally take us…
