We, in our finite mind, could never fully understand the awesomeness which is spoken to us from today’s Scripture. When God chooses, or bestows a gift, or calling upon a person, group, or nation, it is impossible for man to do anything to change the Lord’s position, or the outcome for the person, group or nation chosen. Just to ponder on this truth boggles the mind, but there are many proofs all through God’s Word to more than confirm it. Genesis 6: 8: + 7: 1: say, “But Noah found favor in the Eyes of the Lord. Then the Lord said to Noah, “Enter the Ark, you and your household; for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this time (generation). It is very important to note that “in his time” and generation, for the span of life given to him (as all of us are allotted), Noah chose to honor the Lord. Genesis 15: 1 + 6: says, “After these things the Word of the Lord came to Abram (Abraham) in a vision, saying, “Do not fear, Abram, I am a Shield to you; your reward will be very great.” Then he believed in the Lord; and He (God) reckoned it to him (Abraham) as righteousness.” Genesis 17: 19: “But God said , No, but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My Covenant with him for an everlasting (for all times) Covenant for his descendants after him.”…
