2 Corinthians 1: 20: “For as many as may be the promises of God, in Him they are “yes;” Wherefore also by Him is our Amen to the Glory of God through us.”

Giselle's Devotional, by Giselle.

What a glorious Word, uniquely given to us who believe in Jesus for our Salvation. As I look back at the fulfillment of God’s promises to me, I am overwhelmed at the great measures He personally took to bring them to pass.

I sensed as a very young Christian that one day I would record music. I remember looking around and chuckling to myself at how difficult it would be for the Lord to bring this promise about; and yet with minute precision every step of the way was carefully planned and brought about, because it was not my promise but His.

There are many more promises that I believe the Lord for, and I know with certainty that He is in the process, as He has with every one of them,  of working things out for their fulfillment. The moment I begin to pray and believe, is the first phase of the road I must travel; and the time in-between the “believe and receive” is the test of my faith.

Psalm 37: 7:  tells us that there are so many more answers to receive, as we rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; as in verse 21: He causes us to inherit the land.

Dearest Holy Lord Jesus, please help us today to cling to the Word that You speak to our heart, and please help those who need to know that You have promises for all who follow You. Thank You for the daily fulfillment of Your Word to Your Body around the world. Sustain us all in these difficult and trying times, that You may be greatly glorified through those who remain faithful.  Glory to You alone!
