It has been my experience over the years that the Lord through His love for us, brings us through to victory at every step of the way. In verses 35 + 38: we read, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ (Jesus)? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth nor any created thing, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.” How powerful and great the Love of God is toward us.
Isaiah 49: 15 – 16: says, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed (carved) you on the Palms of My Hands; your walls (salvation) are continually before Me.” Jeremiah 31: 3: says, “The Lord appeared to me from afar saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore, I have drawn you in lovingkindness.” These words do not need any other explanation to the fact of the Lord’s awesome love and personal care for His own.
Psalm 117: 1 – 3: says, “Praise the Lord, all nations; Laud (high praise, acclaim, or glorification) Him, all peoples! For His lovingkindness toward us is great (His Love prevails over us; proves to be stronger and in the position of greater influence and power), and the truth (faithfulness) of the Lord is everlasting. Praise the Lord!” Isaiah 42: 13: says, “The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies. Deuteronomy 3: 22: says, “Do not fear them, for the Lord your God is the one fighting for you.” And we conquer at every turn because of the Lord who is directly involved in every aspect of our lives.
Psalm 115: 11 – 12a + 13: says, “You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their Help and their Shield. The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless those who fear the Lord, the small together with the great.”
Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: thank You so very much for Your conquering Power on our behalf, as we seek refuge in Your Overwhelming Love for us. Come by Your Holy Spirit, and fill us with the knowledge of the tremendous Shield and safety we have in being Yours. May You draw many to Your care, who have not had the great privilege of knowing Your tender mercies and grace. Glory to You alone!
