This Scripture above I gave to our daughter in January two thousand and nine; the morning she and her Pastor husband headed out to the hospital for her appointed surgery.\u00a0 As soon as I got their two boys off to school, I headed out to be at her side. Only ten days earlier, she had told us that a large brain tumor was discovered, and the doctors were baffled that she had not suffered seizures, or worst. \u00a0Just before she went in for the operation, as I was holding her hand, and stroking her hair, she joined me in singing, \u201cLet there be Glory and Honor and Praises, Glory and honor to Jesus, Let there be Glory, Honor, Glory and Honor to Him.\u201d \u00a0I told her I loved her, and she said, \u201cI love you Mom\u201d, and then I watched her go through the doors to the operating room.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n I never once had the slightest doubt to God\u2019s absolute faithfulness in permitting this to come our way. What a mighty God we serve; some four hours, or so, later, the doctor came out and told us that he had never seen anything like it; this very large tumor was not attached to any blood source, or to her brain; they just went in, and basically took it out. The doctors, however, told her that the distortion inside, from the presence of the tumor, would never be realigned. On her last tests, everything was realigned, and, as if she had never had a tumor at all.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Praise be to God alone! Psalm 3: 3: tells us, \u201cBut Thou, O Lord, art a Shield about me; My Glory and the One who lifts my head (and may I add, Who heals it). Psalm 47: 9b: says, \u201cThe shields of the earth belong to God (alone); He is Highly exalted.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Another Scripture I had given her, when she first told me about the tumor, was Psalm 121: 5: \u201cThe Lord is your Keeper; the Lord is the Shade on your right side.\u201d How totally faithful the Lord is to His Word. Jeremiah 1: 12: says, \u201cThen the Lord said to me, \u201cyou have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My Word to perform it.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: I pray that many will be encouraged today by this phenomenal testimony to Your greatness.
