Several years ago a very successful man exiting a Limo was wished by the driver to have a good day. To the driver\u2019s amazement he turned around and said, \u201cI will.\u201d\u00a0 When asked how he could be so affirmative about it, his response was, \u201cevery day I plan to have a great day.\u201d What a marvelous testimony to \u201cresolve\u201d in one\u2019s life. Unfortunately there are many very successful people who have applied strategic plans for their lives, and yet know absolutely nothing about God.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our Text today emphasizes the personal choice that each one of us has to sing and give praise to the Lord for being our Strength, Stronghold, and Lovingkindness. Just as the pendulum sways from one side to the other, so we can side with what we will daily profess with our mouth. I thank the Lord for His wonderful Grace and His Holy Spirit Who continually encourage us to make the right choices, but ultimately, they are ours to make.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I am amazed at the extent to which the Lord has gone to confirm and to comfort, as I made the choice to apply His Will in my life. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 – 18: very clearly shows us His Will, \u201cRejoice always; pray without ceasing; in all things give thanks; for this is God\u2019s Will for you in Christ Jesus.” It does not matter what the circumstances are in my life, when I willfully take a step to be obedient to the above Scripture, an immediate change for the better takes place, because God Honors obedience. Psalm 119: 160: says, “Great peace have they who love Your Law; nothing shall offend them, or make them stumble.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: thank You so much for all You have done for us, and thank You for continuing to compel us to be obedient to Your Holy Word. Just like traffic lights are there to bring order and protection to all our lives, so too, Your Holy Word when adhered to, brings complete order, peace and protection. May we know You in a greater way today. May we also have our will aligned with what is pleasing in Thy Sight. \u00a0Glory to Your Name alone! \u00a0That \u201cthis is the day which the Lord has made,\u201d I will rejoice and be glad in it.
