We have in this verse the answer from the Lord to all the questions concerning what God\u2019s desire for one’s life should be. It simply says from God\u2019s perspective what He defines as the measurement of what is \u201cgood\u201d in a person\u2019s life. We are to live as just (to treat with fairness and reasonableness), kind people (having loyalty, to display generosity and compassion toward others), and walk with humility (without pretension, modest and respectful) before God. And how does one ever hope to attain to such great, yet simple requirements from the Lord? By taking responsibility for our personal (individual) every day choices, as this above verse is not a mere suggestion, but rather a commandment. These three far reaching qualities are looked upon as being essential, because they encompass the essence and intention of how we were always meant to live from the time of creation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

God, in His Great Lovingkindness and compassion, knew that we could never attain to a place of obedience and righteousness on our own, so He sent us Jesus, that He might come and live His life within us.” 1 John 4: 9 – 10: says, \u201cBy this the love of God was manifested in us, that He sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (appeasement, satisfaction) for our sins.”\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 1: 30 – 31: says, \u201cBut by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, Who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, that just as it is written, \u201cLet him who boasts, boast in the Lord.\u201d By these Scriptures we know that (after repentance, and making Jesus Lord of our lives) we can daily access Jesus\u2019 Divine attributes within, so that we may be obedient to God\u2019s Word in His Strength, and not by our own merits.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2 Corinthians 4: 7: says, \u201cBut we have this Treasure (Jesus) in earthen vessels, that the surpassing greatness of the Power may be of God and not from ourselves.\u201d 2 Corinthians 5: 14 – 15 + 17 – 21: says, \u201cFor the Love of Christ controls us, having concluded that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, that they who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him Who died\u00a0 and rose up again on their behalf. Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is anew creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, Who reconciled us to Himself through Christ (Jesus), and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ (Jesus) reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ (Jesus), as though God were entreating through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ (Jesus) be reconciled to God. He made Him Who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.\u201d What a powerful transaction happens when we take Jesus\u2019 life, and give Him our own.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: thank You so much that You came and took away the entire burden of our inability in the flesh to be obedient to any of the Father\u2019s requirements for us. Come by Your Holy Spirit, and open the spiritual eyes of the many who have not necessarily understood the message of Salvation, so that by today’s Scriptures they may now release all their cares and poverty of spirit upon You, receiving their new nature, and ability to be obedient through Your Life within.
