Verse 18: continues, saying, \u201cTo vindicate (do justice to) the orphan and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may cause terror no more. It is interesting to note that the afflicted and the humble run to the Lord, and He hears their cry, while the man who depends on his earthly (wicked) inclinations causes terror, and is subject to God\u2019s determined wrath. God\u2019s absolutes and truths are not always as distinguishable when listening to the world\u2019s voices, as they often layer shades of grey over the innocent\u2019s plight, and over the truth, and add many shades of so-called white (washing) over deeds of darkness, to deem them acceptable.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some fearful Scriptures that I have reflected on over the years; Proverbs 17: 15: says \u201cHe who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them are an abomination to the Lord.\u201d Somehow, by this Scripture alone, we see clearly that the Lord does not take lightly the condemnation of the innocent, and the justification of the wicked. Psalms 34: 16 + 21: says, \u201cThe Face of the Lord is against evildoers, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. Evil shall slay the wicked and those who hate the righteous will be condemned (held guilty).\u201d Psalm 92: 7: \u201cThat when the wicked sprouted up like grass, and all who did iniquity flourished, it was only that they might be destroyed forevermore.\u201d Terrifying words to keep one\u2019s focus on staying very, very, close to Jesus!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Psalm 89: 14: tells us, \u201cRighteousness and Justice are the foundation of Thy Throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before Thee.\u201d Psalm 11: 7: also says, \u201cThe works of His Hands are truth and justice; all His precepts (commandments, instructions) are sure (trustworthy). Psalm 33: 10: says, \u201cThe Lord nullifies the counsel of the nations (who rise against His people); He frustrates the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Psalm 32: 1 – 2: says, \u201cHow blessed is the man whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute (attribute) iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit!\u201d Psalm 112: 1: says, \u201cPraise the Lord! How blessed is the man who fears the Lord. Who greatly delights in his commandments.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus says in Matthew 7: 17 – 20: \u201cEven so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Romans 6: 23: says, \u201cFor the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.\u201d Hebrews 3: 7 – 8a: says \u201c\u201dTherefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, \u201cToday if you hear His Voice, do not harden your hearts\u2026\u201d 2 Corinthians 6: 2: \u201cAnd He (God) says, \u201cAt the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of Salvation I helped you\u201d; behold, now is the acceptable time,\u201d behold, now is the day of Salvation.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: how great is Your Lovingkindness to us who have sought refuge in Your Mercy and Grace. Come by Your Holy Spirit, in this very late hour, and compel myriads to run to Jesus for Salvation while there is still time, for when the fullness of time has come, there will be no more opportunity. Fill us evermore with overwhelming gratefulness at all that you have done to secure the well-being of Your own.
