This verse speaks of the great exchange which took place when Jesus took our sufferings and sinfulness upon Himself, giving us of His Divine Calvary riches and attributes.\u00a0 1 Peter 2: 24 – 25: says, \u201cAnd He (Jesus) Himself bore our sins in His Body on the Cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.\u201d We see by these verses that the Power to live in victory for the Lord was also released to us, as well as having our lives cleansed from sin.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2 Corinthians 8: 9: tells us, \u201cFor you know the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.\u00a0 Ephesians 2: 4 – 9 + 18: says, \u201cBut God being rich in mercy, because of His great Love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (Jesus) (by Grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the Heavenly Places, in Christ Jesus, in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His Grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by Grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. For through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father (God).\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ephesians 1: 3: + (3: 16 – 21): tells us \u201cBlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the Heavenly Places in Christ (Jesus). That He (God) would grant you, according to the riches of His Glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the Love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the Power that works within us, to Him be the Glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus to all generations for ever and ever Amen.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: we have yet to even begin to know the greatness of what transpired at Calvary. Thank You so much for Your willingness to leave the comfort of Your Lordship in Heaven, to come and suffer such untold agony so that we might reign with you on High. Come by Your Holy Spirit, and reveal Yourself to countless who have not yet known of Your Awesome Gift of Grace and Salvation, so that they may also partake of Your riches in Glory.
