What a precious and phenomenal promise we have from the Lord in this Scripture. That though any, or all our sons (family members, relatives), no matter how severely in bondage they may, or could ever be, the Lord will save them. The Lord personally speaks of contending with anyone who contends with His own and against the well-being of their loved ones, and gives safety to their children, and eases them from any spiritual captivity. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nThere are many promises that one has to lay hold of in life, and from my experience, there are very few, if any, who do not need to appropriate this particular promise as a personal promise from the Lord. Most families have at least one member, close or distant, who has kept them on their knees.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n1 Samuel 14: 6b: says, \u201cPerhaps the Lord will work for us, for the Lord is not restrained to save by many or by few.\u201d Indeed, the Lord is never restrained whatsoever.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nThere were no earthly powers that could prevent Peter\u2019s release, as we see in Acts 12: 6 – 7: \u201cAnd on the very night when Herod was about to bring him forward, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains; and guards in front of the door were watching the prison. And behold, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared, and a Light shone in the cell; and he struck Peter\u2019s side and roused him, saying, \u201cGet up quickly.\u201d And his chains fell off his hands.” He was led safely out to fulfill the Ministry to which he was called.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nAnother precious promise all should hold on to is found in Acts 17: 31: saying \u201cAnd they said, \u201cBelieve in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household.\u201d We know the saying that \u201cfaith honors God,\u201d but better still, God honors faith.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nPsalm 37: 28a + 39 – 40: says, \u201cFor the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His godly ones; But the Salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their Strength in time of trouble, and the Lord Helps them, and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked, and saves them, because they take refuge in Him.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nDearest Holy Lord Jesus: thank You so very much for the assurance of faith that we have in You to perform Your Holy Word on our behalf. Thank You that there is nothing impossible with you, and that You are touched with the cares and desires of our heart for household Salvation. Thank You that You are intimately acquainted with all our needs, and that You are committed to accomplish all that concerns us.
