How wonderful to know that Jesus provides for us the joy that we need for each day; it is there within Him, ready for us to appropriate it to ourselves, even as water is available to us from the well, as we lower our vessel into it.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In Acts 2: 28: we read, \u201cThou hast made known to me the ways of life; Thou wilt make me full of the gladness with Thy Presence.\u201d John 15: 5: becomes all the more real, as Jesus says, \u201cI am the Vine you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.\u201d Just like the sap that flows within the branch to bring life and fruit, so the life of Jesus, His joy, peace, and all His other attributes are ours, as we abide and live in Him.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Dearest Holy Lord Jesus: I thank You for this day, and I ask that we might by Your Holy Spirit draw marvelously from the springs of life that dwell in You. These empty broken vessels that we are will soon lose even what we have, unless You pour within us the sap of Life that we so desperately need to keep our lives vibrant in You. Bless You Holy Spirit, for Your patience which has no end, and Your willingness to continue making God\u2019s provisions available to us every moment of every day; even when we have ignored the vast treasures that were there for us to draw from. You have remained faithful to be Provider of all that God has for us. Bless You Jesus for all that we have in You, which apart from You, could never be ours.
