Cry of the Spirit to God’s Remnant people By: Ernest God’s Remnant People! “In the same way then, there has also come to be a the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice.” (Romans 11:5) Praise God in All Things! Ephesians 5: 20: says – “Always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God even the Father.” Always giving thanks – for all things! That’s hard. In the flesh, in our mind, in our circumstances – what have I got to be thankful for? Why should I? Well, let me make it even harder. The Lord gave me the following thought when I didn’t know what Ephesians. 5: 20: said. Praise the Lord in all things, for all things, just the way they are, with no change! Now that hurts. I know because I have been in many situations where I couldn’t change anything, where I was at the mercy of others, and man shows no mercy! That’s why David says in the Psalms, I would rather fall into the hands of God than man because with God the Father there is mercy and grace and forgiveness and redemption and restoration! I can find this mercy and grace at the cross through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
